#TeamJimmy meet Oliver Parker, Director of the Great Escaper
At a recent screening of The Great Escaper starring Michael Cain and the late Glenda Jackson. A member of the #TeamJimmy met Oliver Parker, director. They spoke about combat-related PTSD and Veterans in Prison. Oliver Parker was also presented with a copy of The Veterans Survival Guide by Jimmy Johnson.
The Great Escaper is based on a true story that made national news about pensioner Bernard Jordan who in 2014, absconded from his care home in Hove, Sussex UK to attend an event in France marking the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

@VeteransJimmy has grown over the past month to 283 followers. Recent followers include a Former British Infantry Solider, a Book Club in St. Louis, a survivalist living in the southwest of France, an emergency food aid organisation, the Royal Observer Corps Association and a carton and illustrator who was a former Royal Marine. #TeamJimmy are hoping we will reach 300 followers by Christmas!
