Can of Worms (Do Not Open)!
Tragically, when Britain’s politicians decide to commit the country’s Armed Forces into a military conflict, it really means they are opening a door into a world of ‘madness and mayhem’ for their combat troops. These combat soldiers will immediately undergo intense ‘upped’ training in the use of extreme violence prior to their deployment in the conflict, to ensure they will attack, kill or severely injure other human beings (the enemy) without any thought or hesitation. They then go on a journey beyond sanity, to carry out these actual acts of extreme violence in the conflict because it’s their duty to their country.
Yet, apart from welcome home parades, medal ceremonies and formal ‘well done’ speeches by politicians as a nation’s thanks to its heroes, there is nothing in place to psychologically de-programme their minds from this implanted extreme violence. This is disgraceful negligence, in the full knowledge that these combat veterans have been brainwashed in pure raw violence to make them victorious in battle, then left to cope with the after effects on their return to normal peacetime society, and undoubtedly many will experience serious problems with the Law.
Unbelievably, the violence being (unwittingly) brought back to the UK by combat veterans after their service in conflicts has virtually been ignored, receiving little publicity apart from occasional newspaper headlines deploring their acts of violence when they subsequently appear in criminal courts, after which they are conveniently forgotten and hidden inside the Criminal Justice System to serve their prison sentences. Though if the truth be known, the incredible acts of extreme violence linked to the high numbers of combat veterans serving ‘life sentences’ for murder would shock and horrify the public at large, most particularly the unsuspecting families of their innocently murdered victims.
But when considering why thousands of combat veterans are serving life or have served life sentences for murder in the Criminal Justice System over the past six decades, it is clear that the most critical factor is that none were ever de-programmed from their implanted extreme violence after their service in conflicts, and this is the reason why this carnage and mindless violence has followed them home.
Shamefully, there is no group of inmates in the entire prison population of England and Wales, other than combat veterans, who are so significantly over represented for committing the most heinous of crime of murder! In fact, there is evidence of a clear pattern of high numbers of combat veterans serving ‘life sentences’ for murder in the Criminal Justice System, when compared to Royal Navy (seamen) RAF and non-combatant Army veterans. In fact, the total of non combat personnel in all three of Britain’s armed forces serving life sentences for murder are miniscule compared to army combat veterans, and are on a par with emergency service workers.
The explanation of this enigma is unquestionably that emergency service workers, like military non-combatants, are trained to care, treat and empathise with people like normal human beings. Combat troops on the other hand are brainwashed into killing, maiming and doing as much damage to people as possible without any remorse or compunction, then are left to cope alone with an inbuilt propensity to extreme violence which they are very much at risk of displaying at any time during the rest of their lives unless properly de-programmed on the return to society. Appallingly, these combat veterans are the ‘can of worms’ which the authorities have purposely kept hidden in the Criminal Justice System for over six decades.
Unquestionably, Veterans In Prison (VIP) firmly believe that covering up and suppressing the implantation of extreme violence in combat veterans minds was initially because of the ignorance of its long-term effects when it was introduced during the 1970s. The practice was more than likely assumed to be only a temporary measure by the Ministry of Defence, since this violence would disappear with the passing of time – but disastrously it did not! The sheer expediency of this kill, kill, kill policy embedded in combat soldiers’ minds made it difficult for the Ministry of Defence not to continue with it – so it was retained for future conflict situations and to hell with the consequences!
Indeed, soldiers accept the surrendering of their lives for ‘King and Country’ as part of their indoctrination in basic training, and they believe that dying for one’s country is most courageous and honourable thing a soldier can do. This stands in stark contrast to the Politicians who commit combat troops to fight on the front line, then scurry back to the safety of the front benches knowing they have served their Government Party well and ensured their lasting careers at the Houses of Parliament – not sacrificed to the Houses of Correction at H.M. Prisons for serving their country in conflicts!
Yours sincerely,
